The project features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with eight-time Academy Award-winning visual effects studio DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the production aims to bring the Indian epic to global theatrical audiences.
Ramayana is structured as a two-part cinematic saga. Part 1 is scheduled for a worldwide release during Diwali 2026 across IMAX screens, with Part 2 planned for Diwali 2027.
