Priyanka Chopra Teams Up with Oscar-Winner Russell Crowe for Sci-Fi Action Thriller ‘Bluefly’

Global icon Priyanka Chopra has announced her next major Hollywood feature, a sci-fi action thriller titled Bluefly. Taking to social media to share the update with fans, the actress confirmed her participation in the project, which will see her sharing screen space alongside Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe.

The film's narrative centers around a grieving United Nations translator who becomes embroiled in a covert black-ops military mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The plot follows her character's assignment to locate a mysterious, unacknowledged aircraft. The project will be directed by filmmaker Nimród Antal.

Bluefly marks another major addition to Chopra's international filmography within the science-fiction and action space, following her previous role in The Matrix Resurrections. Her recent Hollywood portfolio also includes leading and producing the pirate-themed action film The Bluff, alongside her upcoming project Reset, co-starring Orlando Bloom.

Chopra, who initially established her acting career in Indian cinema with films like Aitraaz, Krrish, and Don, continues to maintain a prominent presence in both Hollywood and Indian film industries. Alongside her slate of international productions, she is set to appear in the upcoming Hindi film Varanasi, scheduled for release in 2027.
