Led by President Poonam Dhillon and General Secretary Padmini Kolhapure, the association placed its operational records on the public record, seeking to counter incomplete narratives surrounding the body's governance.
The press meet was attended by several executive committee members and prominent industry figures, including Jaya Bhattacharya, Sheeba Akashdeep Sabir, and Chandraprakash Thakur. The leadership highlighted the importance of presenting documented facts to safeguard CINTAA’s decades-long legacy as an institution dedicated to the welfare of film and television performers.
Addressing specific claims made by actor Upasana Singh, President Poonam Dhillon stated that all allegations regarding financial impropriety were unfounded. Dhillon emphasized that every contribution received by CINTAA is accounted for and directed exclusively to beneficiary welfare programs, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for unconstitutional or illegal practices within the organization.
Echoing these sentiments, General Secretary Padmini Kolhapure reiterated that the association's funds are managed under strict regulatory oversight. Kolhapure noted that resources raised for member support, medical aid, and legal assistance are never diverted for personal use, reaffirming CINTAA's commitment to maintaining financial transparency across all operations.
