Oorjaguru Ayush Gupta Introduces Reiki and Mindful Energy to Sansad Youth Parliament 2026
Reiki Grandmaster Oorjaguru Ayush Gupta leads a transformative energy-awareness and meditation session for young leaders at the Sansad Youth Parliament 2026 in Bhopal.
Oorjaguru Ayush Gupta, recognized as one of India's youngest Reiki Grandmasters and Energy Healers, recently conducted a specialized Reiki healing and energy-awareness session during the Sansad Youth Parliament 2026. Held on August 14 at the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha premises in Bhopal, the event brought together meditation, positive energy focus, and self-awareness practices. The initiative offered young delegates a valuable opportunity to pause from intense parliamentary debates and focus on internal well-being.
Invited as a guest healer for the event—co-organized by the Sakar Drishti Social Foundation and Nagpur-based organization Kaleido Hope—Gupta designed the session to balance active public discourse with individual self-care. Participant reception proved overwhelmingly positive, with young attendees actively engaging in guided meditation and describing the peaceful experience as a refreshing counterweight to their standard legislative exercises.
Reflecting on his role as a young pioneer in energy work, Gupta emphasized that he views his practice primarily through the lens of responsibility rather than personal milestone. He highlighted the importance of translating ancient healing traditions into accessible, relatable concepts for contemporary youth. By bridging classical practices with modern perspectives, he aims to help emerging leaders pair ambitious external goals with emotional stability and mental clarity.
During the event, Gupta highlighted that modern youth operate in an environment saturated with intense competition, social media pressures, and high performance expectations. While developing external skills remains crucial, he argued that building internal resilience and emotional awareness is equally essential. In his view, holistic practices like Reiki complement formal education and professional growth by providing young people with the tools needed to face challenges with composure.
Extending his observations on governance and leadership, Gupta advocated for integrating mindfulness directly into youth-centric institutions and public platforms. He noted that effective leadership requires managing one's internal state just as much as influencing external environments. He suggested that parliamentary sessions across the country could benefit from starting with brief moments of reflection, asserting that calm minds lead to more thoughtful decisions and productive dialogue.
Ultimately, the session at the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha reinforced Gupta's core belief that India’s future relies on a generation of balanced leaders. By encouraging young decision-makers to cultivate deep thinking, careful listening, and self-awareness alongside active civic participation, his session underscored the vital connection between personal wellness and responsible public service.
