Reflecting on the event, Megha expressed her joy in supporting her Delhi-based cousin's entrepreneurial endeavor. House of Vitti India was officially launched in 2023, though its founding vision stems from Charru Sharrma’s childhood memories of summer trips to her grandmother’s house in Punjab. Inspired by regional market handcrafted juttis—which frequently lacked long-term comfort and structural durability—the founder sought to redesign traditional footwear to better withstand regular daily use.

To bridge the gap between heritage aesthetic and practical wearability, the brand incorporates double-cushioned footbeds, reinforced stitching, and ergonomic designs into its signature footwear. Honoring the skill of local artisans (karigars), House of Vitti India continues to focus on merging traditional Punjabi craftsmanship with modern comfort standards for festive and everyday wear.
