Mujhko Ranaji Maaf Karna" Reimagined: Tips Music Launches 'Ranaji 2.0' Featuring Mahira Sharma

Revisiting one of the most iconic dance tracks of nineties Hindi cinema, Tips Music has officially unveiled Ranaji 2.0, a contemporary recreation of the popular chartbuster Mujhko Ranaji Maaf Karna from the classic film Karan Arjun. Designed to bridge nostalgia with modern visual storytelling, the track aims to reintroduce the evergreen melody to a fresh generation of music enthusiasts while retaining the foundational vocal track that made the original a household favorite.

The newly released version showcases actress Mahira Sharma in a dynamic lead visual presentation, backed by high-octane choreography conceptualized by Remo D'Souza. Music composer Tanishk Bagchi has refreshed the sonic landscape of the composition, blending modern production arrangements while keeping the iconic vocals of legendary singers Ila Arun and Alka Yagnik at the forefront of the track.

Sharing her experience regarding the project, Mahira Sharma noted the inherent pressure of stepping into a recreated version of a culturally significant song. She emphasized her intent to bring personal energy to the performance while respecting the original charm that audiences hold dear. Echoing similar sentiments, choreographer Remo D'Souza highlighted the challenge of crafting visual sequences that align with evolving dance styles while honoring the familiar rhythm that listeners recognize immediately.

Music composer Tanishk Bagchi stressed the responsibility involved in working with timeless catalog titles. He explained that his primary objective was to safeguard the soul of the original composition and preserve its vocal legacy, while introducing contemporary beats that allow the track to fit seamlessly into current music streaming environments.

The release further highlights the extensive library of TIPS Music Ltd., established in 1988 by the Taurani Brothers. Holding a vast catalog of over 34,000 tracks across multiple languages, the label continues to leverage its historic repertoire—ranging from nineties blockbusters to recent releases—to engage listeners across broadcast and digital platforms.

The official music video for Rana Ji 2.0 is now available for streaming on YouTube.
