Sadhu Sharan Tiwari, Brother of Actor-Politician Manoj Tiwari, Passes Away in Delhi

The Bhojpuri film industry and political circles are mourning the loss of film producer and former ONGC Director Sadhu Sharan Tiwari, who passed away while undergoing medical treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He was the elder brother of prominent Bhojpuri actor, singer, and Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari.

Sadhu Sharan Tiwari had been suffering from a prolonged illness and was admitted to AIIMS for specialized care under senior medical professionals, where he breathed his last.

Beyond his association with the entertainment sector, Sadhu Sharan Tiwari had a distinguished corporate career, serving as a Director at the public sector undertaking Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). He successfully managed administrative responsibilities at ONGC while simultaneously contributing to cultural and cinematic endeavors in the region.

His contributions to regional cinema remain notable, particularly as the producer of the hit Bhojpuri feature film "Goriya Ke Gore Gore Gaal". The film achieved widespread commercial success upon its release and played a foundational role in establishing the early cinematic trajectory of his younger brother, Manoj Tiwari.

Sadhu Sharan Tiwari is survived by his wife, Madhuri Tiwari, two sons, and a daughter. Following news of his passing, several artists, producers, and public figures across the Bhojpuri film fraternity and political landscape extended their condolences to the grieving family.
