Sourav Ganguly Inaugurates iTech’s Flagship Apple Premium Partner Store at Acropolis Mall in Kolkata

East India’s largest Apple Authorised Reseller, iTech, celebrated a key milestone in premium consumer technology retail with the inauguration of its state-of-the-art Apple Premium Partner (APP) store at Acropolis Mall, Kolkata. The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was led by former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly alongside Udit Dokania, Founder and CEO of iTech, accompanied by senior industry executives and local dignitaries.

Designed in accordance with Apple’s global architecture standards for Premium Partner locations, the new outlet spans 2,100 square feet on the ground floor of Acropolis Mall. The spacious retail environment brings Apple’s entire product catalog under one roof, allowing visitors to engage with dedicated hands-on experience zones. Customers can interact directly with the latest device lineups—including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and MacBooks—while receiving personalized technical consultations from Apple-certified specialists.

Speaking to media personnel during the opening ceremony, Sourav Ganguly expressed his enthusiasm for the brand's expanded footprint in the city. A long-time Apple user alongside his family, Ganguly commended the intuitive nature of the brand's ecosystem and congratulated the iTech team on bringing an elevated visual and tactile shopping destination to retail patrons across Kolkata.

Outlining the company's broader corporate roadmap, Founder & CEO Udit Dokania described the launch as a defining chapter for regional tech consumers. Dokania announced plans to open four additional retail outlets across Eastern India by September 2026, targeting a nationwide network of 50 stores by next year. The growth push aligns with iTech’s upcoming 10-year operational anniversary, marking a decade of expanding retail accessibility and after-sales support infrastructure.

Currently operating 35 retail stores and seven certified service centers across Eastern India, iTech continues to strengthen its regional market presence through structured exchange programs, institutional financing solutions, and post-purchase technical services.

To mark the grand opening, iTech rolled out exclusive three-day promotional bundles valid from August 14 to August 16, 2026.
