Dear Husband’ Trailer Launched: Rohit Rajawat’s Survival Thriller Shot Overnight in UP’s Tikri Forest

The trailer for the upcoming Hindi thriller Dear Husband was officially launched during a promotional event in Mumbai. Produced by actor-turned-producer Rohit Rajawat under the Shooting Sense banner and directed by Dharmendra Kumar, the feature is scheduled for an all-India theatrical release on September 25, 2026, with distribution managed by Balkishan Srivastava’s A One Cine Creation Production.

The film stars an ensemble cast including Ajit Goswami, Purnima Sharma, Rohit Rajawat, Dharmendra Kumar, Bishwajit Maity, and Satish Tripathi. Written by Ajit Goswami, the narrative centers on a small-town man named Raman who moves to the city to establish a livelihood for his partner, Siya. The plot pivots into a survival thriller when the protagonist unexpectedly becomes entangled with dangerous criminals during the Holi festival.

Details revealed during the trailer launch highlighted the intense physical demands of the production. Principal photography was conducted over a 30-day schedule primarily within the dense Tikri Forest of Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh. Writer and actor Ajit Goswami noted that the team conducted mostly night shoots under challenging wilderness conditions, averaging minimal rest throughout the filming process.

Actor Satish Tripathi, who portrays a police inspector in the film, spoke about the environmental hazards encountered by the crew, including wildlife hazards like snakes and scorpions in the forest, alongside frequent late-night power interruptions that added an unpredictable atmosphere to the set.

The film features a musical score composed by Rohit Dubey, Jai Mehta, Devrath Sharma, and Abhay Tyagi. Three tracks were previewed during the launch event, including the romantic single "Kho Jana" alongside two Holi-themed compositions, "Rang Tera" and "Kaisey Holi Manaon", which serve as narrative anchors for key emotional sequences.

Dear Husband marks Rohit Rajawat’s debut feature production following his work on digital formats. The project features a technical crew composed largely of talent based in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to deliver a grounded survival narrative to mainstream cinema audiences when it opens in theaters next month.
