Reflecting on the grueling production process, producer Samiksha Oswal revealed that making a feature film with a feline protagonist was a uniquely demanding endeavor unlike standard cinematic shoots. She pointed out that while dogs are generally receptive to structured training and direct commands on set, cats follow their own unpredictable instincts and rhythms. During filming, the four-legged lead would frequently run away between heavy studio lights or simply fall asleep for long stretches right in the middle of crucial shot setups. As a result, the entire cast and crew had to exercise extreme patience, allowing the schedule to stretch well beyond standard timelines to capture genuine, unscripted moments on camera.

Despite the logistical hurdles and extended shooting days, the filmmakers remained steadfast in their commitment to realizing the story exactly as they had envisioned. Samiksha explained that the inspiration to greenlight a cat-centric narrative stemmed directly from her personal life with co-producer and husband Shael Oswal. As an ardent animal lover who shelters over a hundred stray dogs at his farmhouse, Shael was immediately drawn to the novelty of structuring a movie around a feline character. For Samiksha, the premise served as a metaphor for the quiet, uncelebrated compromises partners make in long-term relationships to accommodate each other's worlds.
