Prem Keetanu’ Revives the Magic of Big Bollywood Albums with a 7-Song Powerhouse Lineup

In an era where film music frequently relies on single-track releases and quick remixes, the upcoming Hindi film Prem Keetanu aims to restore the grand tradition of a cohesive, high-energy soundtrack. Giving audiences a first taste of its musical direction, the makers recently unveiled the teaser featuring "Undi Bundi"—a upbeat, vibrant track that captures the lighthearted energy of youth, friendship, and romance.

Beyond its flagship teaser track, Prem Keetanu boasts a massive seven-song original soundtrack designed to evoke the classic era of Hindi cinema albums. The film brings together an extraordinary lineup of vocalists, including Sachet Tandon, Parampara Tandon, B Praak, Armaan Malik, Papon, Jubin Nautiyal, Madhur Sharma, Altamash Faridi, Shashi Suman, and Brijesh Shandilya, along with feature verses by modern hip-hop acts Little Bhatia and Mazemusicc.

The musical architecture of the project is shaped by a collaborative team of composers—Sachet-Parampara, Annkur Pathak, Rahul Mishra, The Rish, and Shashi Suman. Complementing the compositions, the lyrics have been penned by Kunaal Vermaa, Sachin Umrtosh, Prince Dubey, Sandeep Singh Sardaraa, and Meer, balancing youthful romance, camaraderie, and emotional heartbreak.

Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki—widely recognized for his critically acclaimed directorial work on Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and the hit series Aspirants—the film marks a conscious pivot toward lighter, broader theatrical entertainment. Starring Veer Pahariya, Aafiya Sayed, Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi, and Nikhil Vijay, the narrative explores the chaotic, relatable misadventures of college life, first love, and young adulthood.

The project also marks the maiden production from producer Gaurav Verma under his newly launched banner, Avanika Films. Verma previously served as a producer at Red Chillies Entertainment, overseeing major blockbusters and critical hits including Jawan, Darlings, Badla, and Bhakshak. With Prem Keetanu, Verma’s venture focuses on delivering scale-driven, youth-centric storytelling backed by strong musical foundations.

With its sprawling acoustic lineup and focus on melody-driven storytelling, Prem Keetanu positions its music as a core narrative pillar rather than an afterthought. The film is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on October 2, 2026.
