Redefining Independent Music: Founders Ashwin Prabhakar, Robin Sinha, and Zubin Sinha Unveil 'Indie Studioz

In a landmark step aimed at strengthening India’s independent music ecosystem, production banner Chitransh Vision Work has officially launched its flagship music IP, Indie Studioz. Conceived as a sustainable, long-term creative hub, the property is dedicated to producing, showcasing, and promoting original independent music. Founded by brothers Ashwin Prabhakar, Robin Sinha, and Zubin Sinha, the initiative aims to celebrate authentic storytelling, artistic diversity, and high-quality musical production by providing a recurring seasonal platform for both established legends and promising new voices.

The grand unveiling witnessed a star-studded gathering of prominent industry personalities, including Sharad Malhotra, Kumaar, Mohammad Nazim, Vibhav Roy, Nikhil Mehta, Sahil Solanki, Dev Negi, Amit Jadav, Vishal Srivastav, Teenu Arora, Tripurari, Satyam Raj, Ankkitha Maithy, Manpreet Singh Kochar, Prashant Virendra Sharma, Priyanka Bajaj Sibal, Siddharth Sibal, and Rashmi Aarya. Rather than operating as a one-off album, Indie Studioz is structured as an evolving seasonal brand designed to consistently deliver fresh compositions across multiple genres while giving independent musicians the production values typically reserved for mainstream cinema.

A Diverse Palette for Season 1

Serving as the composer, vocalist, and primary creative force behind the initiative, Zubin Sinha has curated an eclectic eight-track roster for Season 1. The inaugural lineup spans Sufi, Folk, Ghazal, Contemporary, and Fusion styles, blending traditional Indian musical richness with a modern sonic landscape.

Launch Track: 'Al-Ilah' Sets the Tone

Season 1 kicks off with its flagship release, "Al-Ilah," a powerful, Sufi-inspired composition featuring music by Zubin Sinha and lyrics by Tripurari. The track brings together an extraordinary vocal lineup, including Shahzad Ali—currently riding high on the success of his popular track "Ishq Jala Kar" from Dhurandhar—and celebrated playback singer Munawwar Ali, known widely for his contributions to the South Indian film industry (including Kantara) with over 500 songs to his credit. Zubin Sinha also lends his vocals to the arrangement, establishing a benchmark for the collaborative philosophy of the platform.
