Sayeoni’ Premieres on Star Plus: Rashami Desai Returns After Eight Years Alongside Janhvi Soni and Gautam Singh Vig

Television show Sayeoni, produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey’s Dreamiyata Entertainment, officially premiered on Star Plus and JioHotstar. The series features Rashami Desai, Janhvi Soni, and Gautam Singh Vig in primary roles, bringing a narrative centered on partnership, mutual respect, and emotional resilience.

The plot revolves around Sanvi (played by Janhvi Soni), a character seeking maternal affection, whose journey shifts upon meeting Aditya (played by Gautam Singh Vig). Unlike traditional lead characters who fight battles on behalf of others, Aditya's character acts as a supportive companion, encouraging Sanvi to voice her thoughts and make independent decisions.

The series marks the return of veteran actress Rashami Desai to daily television after an eight-year hiatus. Desai portrays Maya, a practical and emotionally guarded character. Speaking on her return, Desai shared that she waited for a role with depth and purpose, noting her alignment with the show's realistic writing and the creative vision of producers Sargun Mehta, Ravi Dubey, and director Uttam Bhelawat.

Co-star Janhvi Soni described her character Sanvi as affectionate yet firm in her principles. Soni also expressed appreciation for working alongside Desai, noting that their off-screen camaraderie enhanced their professional collaboration on set.

Gautam Singh Vig highlighted the core philosophy of his character Aditya, emphasizing that the role represents equality and encouragement rather than a conventional heroic archetype. He noted that Aditya’s approach to love focuses on offering security, trust, and complete freedom to his partner.
