Surbhi Chandna Expresses Hesitation Over Egg Freezing Trend, Cites Concerns Regarding Hormonal Imbalance

Television actress Surbhi Chandna recently opened up regarding the modern trend of egg freezing among female celebrities aiming to alleviate biological clock pressures. While voicing continuous respect for women who choose medical intervention to preserve fertility options, the Naagin fame revealed that she prefers avoiding clinical procedures for herself, placing trust instead in natural processes.

Discussing her personal medical outlook, Surbhi explained that advice from her doctor significantly influenced her perspective on non-essential hormonal treatments. She highlighted that egg retrieval procedures require medical stimulus that can precipitate notable hormonal imbalances—a physical consequence she feels hesitant to invite without clear clinical necessity.

"Those who think it is important to freeze their eggs, very nice, but like my gynecologist told me, there will be a lot of hormonal imbalance if you go through it," Surbhi shared during a media interaction. She expressed apprehension regarding synthetic medical steps, pointing out that natural balance remains her primary preference when planning future family goals.

To illustrate her perspective, Surbhi cited her sister's personal experience of embracing motherhood naturally later in life. She shared that her sister delivered a healthy baby boy at age 39 via normal delivery despite maintaining a high-stress aviation job. Seeing her sister navigate a successful pregnancy without fertility treatments reinforced Surbhi’s confidence in biological timing over scheduled clinical preservation.

Maintaining a relaxed perspective toward personal milestones, Surbhi reiterated that family planning should unfold organically when time permits. "I feel every child comes into this world with their own fate... Whenever it happens, it will be a God's gift," she noted, concluding that natural timing aligns best with her outlook.

On the professional front, Surbhi has recently stepped into production responsibilities alongside her acting career. She made her production debut under her banner Feel Good Studios with Balaji Digital's show Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam, marking a major step in her creative endeavors.
