“What’s Love Without a Little Heartbreak?”: B Praak to Lend His Voice to the Heartbreak Anthem for ‘Prem Keetanu’
Singer B Praak joins the musical lineup of Prem Keetanu to render a high-intensity heartbreak track composed by The Rish and written by Kunaal Vermaa.
The upcoming youth drama Prem Keetanu is expanding its musical landscape with a new heartbreak track rendered by acclaimed playback singer B Praak. Known for his soul-stirring renditions in songs like "Mann Bharya," "Filhall," "Ranjha," "Qismat," and "Kya Loge Tum," Praak brings his distinct vocal depth to the new composition, which explores themes of longing, vulnerability, and emotional pain.
Titled "Ishq Ka Ghulaam," the heartbreak track is composed by music director The Rish, with lyrics written by Kunaal Vermaa. Describing the composition, The Rish shared that the track embraces a nostalgic melody reminiscent of early 2000s heartbreak anthems while being tailored specifically for actor Veer Pahariya, who leads the film's cast.
The overall album for Prem Keetanu features a seven-song soundtrack showcasing a diverse lineup of vocalists, including Sachet Tandon, Parampara Tandon, Armaan Malik, Papon, Jubin Nautiyal, Madhur Sharma, Altamash Faridi, Shashi Suman, and Brijesh Shandilya, alongside feature spots by rappers Little Bhatia and Mazemusicc.
Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, Prem Keetanu is produced by Gaurav Verma under the banner of Avanika Films, co-presented with Phars Films in association with Bhavana Studios. The narrative centers on a group of young individuals negotiating friendship, first love, one-sided devotion, and personal growth.
Alongside lead actor Veer Pahariya, the film's ensemble cast includes Aafiya Sayed, Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi, and Nikhil Vijay. Following the release of previously dropped tracks like "Undi Bundi," "Kaho Toh," and "Tu Mera Raiyyo," Prem Keetanu is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
