Film Expo India 2026: Youngest Producer Kartik Paliwal Honored as Guest of Honour at Bharat Mandapam
Young film producer and casting director Kartik Paliwal was felicitated as Guest of Honour at Film Expo India 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, receiving a prestigious memento in the presence of industry leaders.
The grand stage of Film Expo India 2026, hosted at the iconic Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, witnessed the felicitation of young film producer and casting director Kartik Paliwal as a Guest of Honour. Recognizing his dynamic contributions across film production, casting management, and regional media ecosystem, the expo organizers presented Paliwal with an official Guest of Honour memento and trophy during the national cinema trade summit.
The five-day mega event (August 26 to August 30, 2026), organized by Exhobuzz Pvt Ltd in partnership with ITPO, emerged as one of India's largest cinema business conventions. The felicitation ceremony brought together an elite gathering of film industry veterans, political leaders, and legal luminaries. Sharing the stage with Paliwal were prominent figures including senior actor Vindu Dara Singh, veteran actor Mukesh Rishi, AAFT Chancellor Sandeep Marwah, and Deputy Advocate General Dr. Manoj Gorkhela (Supreme Court of India).
The film expo saw high-profile participation across all five days, including dignitaries like Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who addressed the forum on India's growing storytelling potential. Other notable industry leaders and delegates present at the expo included IMPPA President Abhay Sinha, producer Deepak Mukut, international filmmaker Chandran Rutnam, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, along with renowned television actors Rohitashv Gour, Pankaj Berry, Shilpa Raizada, Amit Pachori, and Shehzad Khan.
During the stage felicitation, dignitaries commended Paliwal for his active role in empowering independent cinema initiatives and guiding media platforms like Devbhumi Magazine. The Guest of Honour memento celebrates his consistent efforts in bridging creative talent from North India with national streaming, trade, and theatrical distribution networks.
Highlighting the theme "From Scripting to Releasing", Film Expo India 2026 hosted over 2,000 exhibitors and 100+ industry experts, focusing on production tech, AI integration in filmmaking, and expanding regional state subsidies to boost nationwide employment in cinema.
